SUMMARY:Return of Two ISS Crew Members\, June 2017\, Kazakhstan
DESCRIPTION:European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky will return to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) in their Soyuz MS-03 spacecraft on June 2\, 2017\, landing in Kazakhstan at 14:19 GMT (16:10 Central European Summer Time; 10:10 am Eastern Daylight Time). \nNASA astronaut Peggy Whitson originally was scheduled to return with her crewmates\, but her mission aboard the ISS has been extended until September.  Russia has reduced the number of cosmonauts it keeps aboard ISS from three to two\, meaning there was an empty seat on Soyuz MS-04 when it launched to the ISS.  Whitson will fill that seat when that crew (NASA’s Jack Fischer and Roscosmos’s Fyodor Yurchikhin) returns. \nNASA TV will cover the undocking and landing live.   \n\nUndocking is at 6:50 am EDT and NASA TV coverage begins 6:30 am EDT. \nLanding is at 10:10 am EDT and NASA TV coverage begins at 8:45 am EDT. \n\nNote:  this entry was updated May 31 with refined times announced by NASA.
