DESCRIPTION:The Senate Commerce\, Science\, and Transportation Committee will meet in Executive Session on June 15\, 2023 at 10:00 am ET in 253 Russell Senate Office Building. \nAmong the matters under consideration will be markup of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2023. The text of the bill has not been released yet so it is not known if any of the language will affect the FAA’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation. \nThe markup will be broadcast on the committee’s website and social media outlets. \n(The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee introduced its version of the bill on June 9 and will mark it up on June 13. The House Science\, Space\, and Technology Committee overseees FAA R&D and will mark up its bill on June 14.)
