DESCRIPTION:NASA and the Aerospace Corporation will hold a one-day workshop on Small Launch Vehicles on September 24\, 2018 in El Segundo\, CA. \nThe workshop is only for U.S. companies and organizations. \nAccording to the event’s website: \nThis workshop will cover: \n\n\nNASA technology development initiatives aimed at helping industry achieve potential for small-launch technology maturity and orbital capability \n\n\nComplementary DOD/USAF initiatives \n\n\nNASA’s Launch Services Program (LSP) Venture Class Launch Services (VCLS) acquisition plans \n\n\nExisting FAA/AST launch license application process and new performance-based licensing process under development \n\n\nAerospace Corporation’s technologies of interest to the small launch community \n\n\nThere will also be an opportunity for attendees to provide feedback on NASA’s current investment focus and potential additional NASA initiatives to help achieve orbital small-launch capability\, through a group discussion session or one-on-one meetings.
