DESCRIPTION:The Aerospace Corporation will hold the 2024 Space Power Workshop from April 23-25\, 2024 at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach in Torrance\, CA. \nMore information is on the event’s website\, which says: \nThe 41st annual Space Power Workshop will be held April 23 – 25\, 2024\, at the Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach Hotel. The workshop provides an informal\, unclassified\, international forum for the exchange of ideas and information on space power. The Space Power Workshop sessions include Mission and Program Experience\, Power Systems Architecture\, Power Management and Distribution (PMAD)\, Energy Generation\, Energy Storage\, and Advanced Concepts. \nThis year’s theme is “Rapid and agile power systems: Developing new norms for an evolving and contested space environment“. \nWe will also have a Networking Social to include a Poster Session on Tuesday\, April 23\, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. \nAn optional Special Interest Network Luncheon\, “The Role of AI in Space Power: An open discussion on increasing productivity in agile programs” will be held on Thursday\, April 25 at 12 p.m. \nThe Space Power Workshop covers topics of interest to professionals with all levels of expertise. The workshop also provides many industry networking opportunities with both domestic and international attendees\, including a luncheon on Wednesday\, April 24.
