Event Navigation
Update, April 28, 2021: The conference now will take place in a hybrid format from August 23-26, 2021. The in-person meeting will still be at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, but attendance will be limited. The meeting will also take place virtually. More information is on the event’s website. A press release from the Space Foundation today says:
Working with its multiple partners, corporate members, and stakeholders, Space Foundation has created a hybrid program for the first time in nearly four decades of Space Symposium operations that will allow for in-person and virtual attendance. The in-person assembly of global space leaders and innovators will be limited in its physical size to comply with public health ordinances, but the virtual assembly will allow unlimited, real-time and on-demand access to the event.
Update, August 19, 2020: With the pandemic ongoing, the organizers have given up on holding the symposium this year. It has been rescheduled for August 22-26, 2021.
Update, August 7, 2020: Organizers now say the in-person conference will have options for virtual participation. The website includes this information:
Live Stream of Symposium Program – Another change for this year’s Symposium is the ability for on-site registrants to live stream sessions to a personal device. We will also share content live and on-demand with current symposium registrants who are unable to attend due to company-wide travel bans or international travel restrictions. Those details are under development but keeping the space community connected globally – both in-person and virtually is a priority, especially in today’s new operating environment.
Update, April 2, 2020: The symposium has been rescheduled for October 31-November 3, 2020 at the Broadmoor. The statement from the Space Foundation is as follows. The 5th paragraph has information about the agenda.
