SUMMARY:SpaceX CRS-10 Launch\, Feb 2017\, KSC
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE\, February 19:  Launch successfully occurred at 9:39:00 am ET this morning.   Arrival at ISS is expected about 6:00 am ET on February 22. \nUPDATE\, February 18:   The launch was scrubbed 13 seconds before liftoff.  The next launch opportunity is tomorrow\, February 19\, at 9:38:59 am ET\, but SpaceX has not confirmed whether it will attempt the launch at that time.  The press conference scheduled for noon today has been canceled.  NASA advised the public to check the nasa.gov/spacex website for updates. \nUPDATES:  The launch slipped to Feb. 17 and then to Feb. 18. Launch time on Feb. 18  is 10:01 am ET. NASA TV coverage begins at 8:30 am ET.   If the launch slips to Feb. 19\, the launch time will be 9:38 am ET with NASA TV coverage beginning at 8:00 am ET.  \n If the launch takes place on Feb. 18\, it will arrive at the ISS on Feb. 20 and remain there until Mar. 21. NASA TV coverage of the Feb. 20 arrival (assuming launch on Feb 18) begins at 7:30 am ET. \nOriginal Entry: SpaceX has scheduled its next cargo launch to the International Space Station\, Commercial Resupply Services-10 (CRS-10)\, for February 14 at 11:34 am ET from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A.  SpaceX leases the launch pad from NASA.  This will be its first launch from LC-39A.  Its previous East Coast launches have taken place from Space Launch Complex-40 (SLC-40) at the adjacent Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS).  The launch pad was badly damaged in a September 1\, 2016 incident.  Space X had been preparing LC-39A for the first launch of its larger Falcon Heavy rocket\, still in development\, but LC-39A also can be used for the Falcon 9 used for these cargo missions.  SpaceX typically webcasts its launches and NASA TV also may broadcast this one.
