SUMMARY:SPACEX CRS-14 DRAGON DEPARTURE FROM ISS\, May 5\, 2018\, Earth orbit\, NASA TV coverage begins 9:00 am ET
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE\, MAY 1:   Rough seas in the Pacific where Dragon will splash down have caused SpaceX and NASA to postpone Dragon’s return until May 5.  NASA TV coverage of departure from ISS will begin at 9:00 am ET.  Unberthing will take place at 9:30 am ET.  Splash down will take place about 3:00 pm ET but there will be no NASA TV coverage of that. \nORIGINAL ENTRY \nSpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft will depart from the International Space Station on May 2\, 2018 at 10:22 am ET.  NASA TV will broadcast the departure beginning at 10:00 am ET. \nSpaceX CRS-14 (SpX-14) was launched on April 2. \nDragon will bring back about 4\,000 pounds of cargo\, including science samples from human and animal research\, biology and biotechnology studies\, physical science investigations and education activities.  It will splash down in the Pacific at about 4:02 pm ET (1:02 pm Pacific Time). That will NOT be covered on NASA TV.
