DESCRIPTION:Updated\, December 4\, 2018:  The launch has been postponed by one day because NASA discovered that food bars for the mice that are travelling up to the ISS are contaminated with mold and need to be replaced.  There was not enough time to do that and launch on December 4.  The launch is now scheduled for December 5 at 1:16 pm ET. \nNASA TV coverage begins at 12:45 pm ET.  SpaceX’s webcast will begin about 20 minutes before launch. \nDragon is now expected to arrive at ISS on Saturday\, December 8\, with capture about 6:00 am ET.  NASA TV coverage begins 4:30 am ET. \n  \nOriginal Entry: SpaceX will launch its 16th Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo mission\, SpaceX-16 or SpX-16\, to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 4\, 2018 at 1:38 pm ET.  It will launch from Space Launch Complex-40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station\, FL. \nNASA will hold two pre-launch briefings on December 3 (see our separate calendar entries). \nOn December 4\, launch coverage begins at 1:00 pm ET for a 1:38 pm ET launch. \nA post-launch press conference is scheduled for 3:30 pm ET.  Participants are: \n\nJoel Montelbano\, deputy ISS program manager\, NASA’s Johnson Space Center\nHans Koenigsmann\, vice president of Build and Flight Reliability at SpaceX\n\nAll the events will air on NASA TV and the agency’s NASA Live website.
