SUMMARY:SPACEX CRS-17 (SpX-17) CARGO LAUNCH TO ISS\, May 4\, 2019\, CCAFS\, 2:48 am ET (webcast)
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE\, May 3:  The launch was scrubbed because of a problem on SpaceX’s drone ship where the first stage is to land.  The newest launch date is May 4 at 2:48 am ET.  [This time it did launch.] \nUPDATE\, April 30: The launch has been postponed to no earlier than (NET) May 3 at 3:11 am ET because of an electrical problem aboard the ISS that needs to be fixed before Dragon arrives.  NASA TV coverage begins at 2:45 am ET.   The launch date is dependent on successful resolution of the electrical problem. \nUPDATE\, April 27: The launch has been postponed to May 1 at 3:59 am ET.  NASA TV coverage begins at 3:30 am ET.  A post-launch press conference is still planned for 5:30 am ET according to the NASA TV schedule. \nUPDATE\, April 24:  Launch coverage on NASA TV and NASA Live will begin at 4:00 am ET.  A post-launch press conference is scheduled for 5:30 am ET and also will be broadcast on those outlets. \nUPDATE\, April 19:  NASA and SpaceX announced today that they changed the launch date to April 30 at 4:22 am ET because it is “the most viable date for both NASA and SpaceX due to station and orbital mechanics constraints.” \n  \nORIGINAL ENTRY: SpaceX will launch its next cargo mission to the International Space Station\, Commercial Resupply Services-17 (CRS-17)\, on April 26\, 2019 at 5:55 am ET from Launch Complex-40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station\, FL. \nA backup opportunity is on on April 27. \nNASA TV and SpaceX webcast these launches.
