DESCRIPTION:Update\, August 2:  The time has been moved up to 4:30 pm ET.  NASA finally revealed who the participants are this afternoon: \n\nJim Bridenstine\, NASA Administrator\nSteve Stich\, Commercial Crew Program Manager\nJoel Montelbano\, ISS Program Manager\nGwynne Shotwell\, President\, SpaceX\nCrew-1 crew (for the first operational Crew Dragon flight\, expected in late September)\n\nMichael Hopkins (NASA)\nVic Glover (NASA)\nShannon Walker (NASA)\nSoichi Noguichi (JAXA)\n\n\n\nOriginal Entry: NASA will hold a news conference on August 2\, 2020 at 5:00 pm ET following the splashdown of the SpaceX Demo-2 crewed test flight\, scheduled for 2:42 pm ET that afternoon.  It will be broadcast on NASA TV. \nNASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are the crew of Demo-2.  They were launched on May 30 and arrived at the International Space Station on May 31.  They will undock from the ISS on August 1 and splashdown off the East or West Coast of Florida on August 2 (weather permitting). \nParticipants in the post-splashdown press conference are: \n\nNASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine\nCommercial Crew Program representative\nInternational Space Station representative\nSpaceX representative\nNASA Astronaut Office representative
