DESCRIPTION:Update\, December 5/6:  The SpX-13 launch has been postponed to December 12\, and the two pre-launch briefings consequently are rescheduled for December 11.  The times for the two briefings are 11:00 am ET (mission status) and 3:30 pm ET (what’s on board) as they were originally. \nOriginal entry:  NASA will hold two pre-launch press conferences at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) on December 7\, 2017\, at 11:00 am and 3:30 pm ET\, in advance of the December 8\, 2017 launch of the Space-X CRS-13 (SpX-13) cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS). \nThe two press conferences on December 7 are as follows.  They will be broadcast on NASA TV. \n11:00 am ET\, Mission Status\, with representatives from NASA’s ISS Program Office\, SpaceX\, and the Air Force’s 45th Space Wing\, \n3:30 pm ET\, What’s on Board science briefing highlighting research testing: fiber optic filaments\, how plants respond to microgravity\, the accuracy of a biosensor used for diabetes management\, a drug delivery system for combatting muscle atrophy and instruments to measure the Sun’s energy input to Earth and orbital debris.
