DESCRIPTION:The Space Transportation Association (STA) will hold an event on October 3\, 2019 in 2325 Rayburn House Office Building from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm ET.  It features Dave Pierce\, Director of NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility\, and Dale Nash\, CEO and Executive Director of Virginia Space.  They will provide an overview and update of Virginia Space’s Mid-Altantic Regional Spaceport (MARS)\, located at Wallops. It is the launch site for Northrop Grumman’s Antares rocket and soon will also be the location of a second launch site for Rocket Lab’s Electron (its Launch Complex 1 is in New Zealand). \nSTA events are by invitation only.  Contact Rich Coleman or Alexandra Hale at rich@spacetransportation.us. \n
