DESCRIPTION:The Space Transportation Association (STA) will hold a luncheon on December 7\, 2018 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm ET at the Capitol Hill Club\, 300 First St.\, S.E.\, Washington\, DC. \nEuropean Space Agency (ESA) Director General Jan Woerner will speak about the recent ESA Interim Ministerial Meeting (IMM)\, which was held in preparation for next year’s Ministerial Council meeting  — Space19+. \nSTA will also present its Leadership Award to Rep. John Culberson (R-TX)\, chair of the Commerce-Justice-Science subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee\, who lost his reelection bid and therefore will be leaving at the end of this Congress. \nThe event is by invitation only.
