DESCRIPTION:Update\, January 31:  This event has been rescheduled as a BREAKFAST on February 20\, 2018.  It will still be in 2325 Rayburn House Office Building\, but from 8:30-9:30 am ET.  \nUpdate January 25:  This event has been postponed because the Trump Administration is delaying release of the FY2019 budget request to February 12.  A new date will be announced later. \nOriginal Entry: The Space Transportation Association (STA) will hold a luncheon on February 7\, 2018 from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm ET in 2325 Rayburn House Office Building. \nThe speaker is Acting NASA Administrator Robert Lightfoot\, who also spoke at the last STA luncheon (in December) providing a year-end wrap-up of NASA’s activities.  At this luncheon\, which takes places two days after the FY2019 President’s budget request to Congress is scheduled to be released\, he will provide an update on NASA’s budget and program for FY2019 and beyond. \nThe event is by invitation only.  Contact STA President Rich Coleman for more information (rich@spacetransportation.us). \nNote that this luncheon ends at 12:45 pm instead of the usual 1:00 pm.   The annual FAA-AST/CSF Commercial Space Transportation conference begins at 1:00 pm at the Ronald Reagan building across town.
