DESCRIPTION:The Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security of the Atlantic Council will hold a hybrid fireside chat on December 10\, 2024 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm ET to discuss the findings of the Commission on National Defense Strategy with its chair\, Jane Harman\, and vice chair\, Eric Edelman. \nThe in-person meeting is at the Atlantic Council\, 1400 L St.\, NW\, Washington\, DC. \nThe commission was created by Congress to assess the 2022 National Defense Strategy and released its report in July 2024. \nMore information\, including registration instructions\, is on the event’s website\, which says: \n“At the Atlantic Council\, Harman and Edelman will delve into the findings and recommendations of the commission and offer insights into the future of US defense policy. They will also explore the implications of these recommendations for the next NDS\, with a new administration soon to be in place.”
