DESCRIPTION:The 4th Texas Area Planetary Science (TAPS) meeting will take place at the University of Texas at Austin in Austin\, TX from August 20-21\, 2026. \nMore information is in the announcement in the March 8\, 2026 Planetary Exploration Newsletter\, Vol 20\, No 10\, which says: \nTEXAS AREA PLANETARY SCIENCE MEETING \nWe are excited to announce the fourth Texas Area Planetary Science\nMeeting (TAPS) taking place on August 20-21\, 2026 at The University of\nTexas at Austin. TAPS aims to strengthen interactions within the Texas\nplanetary-exoplanet science and astrobiology community and foster\ncollaborations and partnerships between industry\, institutions and\nresearchers. We encourage Texas-based researchers\, faculty\, postdocs\,\nand students interested in planetary science\, astrobiology\, and\nexoplanet research\, as well as space industry partners interested in\nresearch-enabling collaboration\, to join us for this 2-day event. \nThe meeting will include:\n– Contributed and invited talks (10 min + Q&A)\n– Scientific posters and 1-minute lightning talks\n– Breakfast\, Lunch\, and refreshment breaks for discussions and\n  networking\n– Opportunities for space industry sponsorship \nA short 300-word abstract will be due by June 2026 (exact date\nforthcoming). \nTravel support will be offered\, with priority given to students and\npostdocs.
