DESCRIPTION:The Space Studies Board (SSB) of the National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine will hold a public lecture as part of its annual Space Science Week on March 28\, 2018 at the National Academy of Sciences building\, 2101 Constitution Ave.\, NW\, Washington\, DC. \nThe lecture this year is by Dr. David Reitze\, Executive Director of the LIGO Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology.  He will speak on “The Gravitational Wave Astronomical Revolution.” \nMore information is on the event’s website. \nIt will be webcast\, but one must “register” using the registration link on that page which provides the options to attend in person or by webcast.  You then will get an email from Eventbrite with the link.
