DESCRIPTION:NASA will hold two press conferences on March 1\, 2021 at Johnson Space Center\, TX to discuss the next SpaceX crew mission to the International Space Station\, Crew-2.  Launch is currently expected on April 20\, 2021. \nAt 12:30 pm ET\, officials will provide an overview of the mission.  Participants are: \n\nKathy Lueders\, NASA associate administrator for human exploration and operations\, NASA Headquarters\nSteve Stich\, manager\, Commercial Crew Program\, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center\nJoel Montalbano\, manager\, International Space Station\, Johnson\nBenji Reed\, senior director\, Human Spaceflight Programs\, SpaceX\nJunichi Sakai\, manager\, International Space Station\, JAXA\nDavid Parker\, director\, Human and Robotic Exploration\, ESA\n\nAt 2:00\, the four astronauts — two from NASA\, one from the Japan\, and one from Europe — will answer questions. \n\nAstronaut Shane Kimbrough\, spacecraft commander\, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission\nAstronaut Megan McArthur\, pilot\, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission\nAstronaut Akihiko Hoshide\, mission specialist\, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission\nAstronaut Thomas Pesquet\, mission specialist\, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission\n\nThe briefings will air live on NASA Television\, the NASA app\, and the agency’s website.
