DESCRIPTION:NASA and NOAA will hold two pre-launch news conferences on September 21\, 2025 in advance of the launch of three satellites on a Falcon 9 rocket: NASA’s Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP)\, NASA’s Carruthers Geocorona Observatory\, and NOAA’s Space Weather Follow On-Lagrange 1 (SWFO-L1). \nThe launch is scheduled for September 23 at 7:32 am ET.  All three are headed to the Sun-Earth L1 Lagrange point 1 million miles from Earth in the direction of the Sun.
