SUMMARY:Two New ISS Crew Members Launch and Dock\, Apr 2017\, Kazakhstan
DESCRIPTION:Two new crew members will launch and dock to the International Space Station (ISS) on April 20\, 2017.  Their Soyuz MS-04 spacecraft will take the abbreviated (four-orbit\, 6 hour) rendezvous trajectory to ISS.   They are:   \n\nNASA astronaut Jack Fischer\nRoscosmos cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin\n\nRussia has decided to reduce its usual ISS crew complement from three to two to reduce resupply requirements and therefore the number of Progress cargo     missions needed each year.  Hence there are only two people aboard this Soyuz instead of the typical three.  They will join three ISS crew     members already aboard (one American\, one Russian\, one European). \nLaunch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan is at 3:13 am ET (NASA TV coverage begins 2:15 am ET) and docking is at 9:23 am ET (NASA TV coverage     begins 8:30 am ET).
