DESCRIPTION:Celestis will host a Facebook Live discussion on August 21\, 2023 at 4:00 pm ET with Tory Bruno\, President and CEO of the United Launch Alliance (ULA)\, about the status of the first launch of the new Vulcan rocket. It is the first of two “certification” missions for the rocket to be certified to launch satellites for DOD and is referred to as “Cert-1.” \nCelestis launches cremated remains into space and is one of the customers on Cert-1. \nThe event will air on Celestis’s Facebook page\, which says: \n \nCert-1 was scheduled to launch in May\, but technical problems were discovered with the Centaur upper stage. Most recently Bruno has said the launch will be in the 4th quarter of 2023.
