DESCRIPTION:Update\, July 13\, 11:30 am ET:  The launch was delayed for two hours this morning\, but successfully lifted off at 9:13 am EDT.  The post-launch press conference now is at 12:00 pm EDT. \nOrginal Entry: ESA will hold a press conference following the inaugural launch of Vega-C\, which is scheduled for July 13\, 2022 at 8:13 am local time at the launch site in Kourou\, French Guiana (7:13 am EDT\, 13:13 CEST). \nThe post-launch press conference is scheduled for 16:00 CEST (10:0o am EDT). The hybrid event will take place from ESA-ESRIN in Frascati\, Italy; Kourou; and online on ESA TV. Participants are: \n\nDaniel Neuenschwander\, ESA Director of Space Transportation Systems\nGiulio Ranzo\, Avio CEO\nGiorgio Saccoccia\, ASI President\nMarie Anne Clair\, CNES\nStephane Israel\, CEO Arianespace\n\nItaly’s Avio is the Vega-C prime contractor. ASI is the Italian Space Agency (the main payload is ASI’s Laser Relativity Satellite-2 or LARES-2). CNES is the French space agency. \n
