DESCRIPTION:Vice President Mike Pence will visit NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton\, VA on February 19\, 2020.  At 12:30 pm ET\, he will speak to employees.  It will be broadcast on NASA TV and NASA Live.  He will be accompanied by NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine. \nThe visit is one of many stops the Vice President will be making in the area.  Here is his full itinerary: \nOn Wednesday\, February 19th\, the Vice President will travel to Virginia. There\, the Vice President will visit the NASA Langley Research Center. At Langley\, the Vice President will tour the facility and deliver remarks to NASA employees.  Following\, the Vice President will visit Hampton University’s Proton Therapy Institute in celebration of Black History Month and to support the university’s efforts in providing unique research and professional growth opportunities for their students. At Hampton University\, the Vice President will tour the facility and participate in a roundtable discussion with Hampton students\, staff\, and patients. Later that day\, the Vice President will visit Naval Air Station Oceana and meet with Naval Special Warfare Operators. That evening\, the Vice President will return to Washington\, D.C. \n  \n
