UPDATE: NASA tweeted three minutes ago that the Dragon’s main parachute should deploy in about 20 minutes.


SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft has fired its descent rockets to reenter Earth’s atmosphere and splash down in the Pacific according to Spaceflightnow.com.
