YVONNE BRILL LECTURE: STUDENT DESIGN-BUILD-FLY MICRO AND NANO-SATELLITES, Oct 2, 2018, DC, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm ET

Dr. Helen Reed, Regents Professor at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, is the 2018 winner of the Yvonne C. Brill Lectureship in Aerospace Engineering presented biannually by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the National Academy of Engineering (NAE).

Reed’s lecture is entitled: Student Design-Build-Fly Micro and Nano-Satellites.  It will be presented on October 2, 2018 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm ET at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constituton Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. in conjunction with the NAE annual meeting in Washington, DC.  More information is on the NAE website.  The event is free and open to thepublic, but pre-registration (at that website) is required.
