In this special Beyond Earth Institute webinar program, the organization’s founders discuss why it is critical that attention be turned to the essential policies that will enable the creation of communities beyond Earth. This discussion will include the origin of Beyond Earth, the personal stories of the founders and their passion for the mission, a review of the research-based recommendations developed so far, and look ahead to future Beyond Earth initiatives. The founders will share their experiences and engage one another on these topics. The audience will be welcome to ask questions and join the discussion. Join us to gain a greater appreciation for why laying the policy groundwork now can lead, inform, and even shape the rapidly emerging competencies, technical and otherwise, necessary for building communities beyond Earth.
