The Secure World Foundation (SWF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will hold a two-part virtual event on May 10, 2023 to discuss “A Contested Domain: From Space Threats and Theory to Practice.”
The first part (2:00-2:50 pm ET) is a fireside chat with Maj. Gen. Shawn Bratton, Commander, U.S. Space Force Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM), moderated by CSIS’s Kari Bingen, Director of the Aerospace Security Project.
The second part (3:00-4:00 pm ET) is a discussion with SWF and CSIS experts on the latest developments in counterspace weapons. The two organizations recently published their complementary reports “Global Counterspace Capabilities” (SWF) and “Space Threat Assessment 2023” (CSIS). Participants in this part of the discussion are:
