RUSSIAN SPACEWALK AT ISS, Oct 28, 2025, Earth orbit, NASA coverage begins 9:45 am ET

Update, October 27: NASA coverage of the approximately 6 hour spacewalk begins tomorrow (Oct 28) at 9:45 am ET on YouTube.

Original Entry: NASA says Russian cosmonauts will conduct a spacewalk at the ISS on October 28, but details on participants and timing have not been released yet. We will update this entry when we have more information.

NASA will provide live coverage, although due to the government shutdown their coverage of ISS events has limited technical commentary. ISS operations are an “excepted” activity under the shutdown, which means they continue as usual but U.S. government workers are not paid.
