HTV-X1 ARRIVAL AT THE ISS, Oct 29, 2025, Earth orbit, 11:50 am ET (NASA coverage begins 9:05 am ET)

If JAXA’s HTV-X1 launches on time on October 26 Japan Standard Time (October 25 EDT), it will arrive at the ISS on October 29 for capture by Canadarm2 at 11:50 am ET.

NASA coverage will begin at 9:05 am ET, with limited technical commentary due to the government shutdown.  ISS operations are “excepted” under the shutdown so continue as usual, but U.S. government workers are not paid. NASA has been showing coverage on its YouTube channel.

HTV-X1 is the first of JAXA’s new version of the HTV cargo vehicle.
