NASA NEWS CONF AFTER THE SECOND ARTEMIS II WET DRESS REHEARSAL (WDR), Feb 20, 2026, KSC, 11:00 am ET
Event Navigation
NASA will hold a news conference at Kennedy Space Center on February 20, 2026 at 11:00 am ET following the second Wet Dress Rehearsal (WDR) for the Artemis II launch. The first WDR on February 2-3 ended early because of hydrogen leaks. NASA has replaced some of the seals. If the test is successful, the Artemis II crew could lift off as early as March 6 on a 10-day trip that will take them around the Moon, the first astronauts to travel that far since the Apollo era.
The news conference will be livestreamed on NASA’s YouTube channel. Participants (as of February 18) are:
- Lori Glaze, acting associate administrator, Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate
- John Honeycutt, chair, Artemis II Mission Management Team
- Representative, Exploration Ground Systems
