NORTHROP GRUMMAN’S CRS-24 CARGO SPACECRAFT DEPARTS ISS, Oct 9, 2026, Earth Orbit, 12:45 pm ET

NASA will provide live coverage of the departure of Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft from the International Space Station on October 9, 2026. This is the 24th Commercial Resupply Services mission, CRS-24, for Northrop Grumman and its predecessor companies (Orbital Science Corps and Orbital ATK).

NASA coverage begins at 12:30 pm ET on X, Discovery+, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and NASA+.

Release from Canadarm2 is at 12:45 pm ET.

CRS-24 will reenter on Sunday, October 11, but there will be no live coverage of that. Cygnus is not designed to survive reentry and is filled with trash that burns up along with the spacecraft.
