Japan’s Cabinet Office will hold its 11th National Space Policy Symposium on Ensuring the Safe and Sustainable Use of Outer Space on February 27, 2026 from 9:00-13:10 Japan Standard Time (February 26, 7:00-11:10 pm EST).

This International Symposium is hosted by the Cabinet Office’s Space Development Strategy Promotion Secretariat and has been held annually since 2016 with the aim of deepening discussions that contribute to ensuring the stable use of outer space.

This year, with the participation of panelists from relevant countries and institutions, we plan to hold the “11th National Space Policy Secretariat Symposium on Ensuring the Safe and Sustainable Use of Outer Space” in a hybrid format (both in-person and online) as outlined below.
