The Space Foundation will air an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the International Space Station (ISS) on December 21, 2020 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm ET as part of its Space Symposium 365 series. The event previously aired on NASA TV.
It features representatives of the ISS partner countries: United States, Russia, Canada, Japan and 11 European countries operating through the European Space Agency (ESA). Participants are:
- Joel Montelbano, ISS Program Manager, NASA
- Sergei Kirkalev, Executive Director for Piloted Spaceflights, Roscosmos (and former astronaut who was a member of the first ISS crew)
- Luc Dubé, Director of Space Exploration Operations & Infrastructure, Canadian Space Agency
- Junichi Sakai, ISS Program Manager, JAXA
- Frank De Winne, ISS Program Manager, ESA (and former astronaut)
- Jeanne Meserve, moderator
