Event Navigation
Update, November 25: This is one of three calendar entries we have for this conference, which spans three weeks, but not weekends: December 1-4, December 7-11, and December 14-17. See the schedule for more information.
Update, September 17: The meeting now will take place entirely virtually and spans the December 1-17 time frame. Organizers say:
To minimize scheduling conflicts, we will be extending events around the meeting to the period from 1 to 17 December. While most of the scientific programming will remain from 7-11 December, some content will be presented leading up to this week, or after it.
Visit the meeting’s website for more information and registration instructions.
Original Entry: The 2020 Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) will take place December 7-11, 2020. Usually the meeting is in San Francisco, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, most of it will be virtual. The AGU says that if conditions in December permit, regional meetings may be able to take place in person.
The AGU explained its plans for the meeting in a June 11 blog post. It also notes that some virtual events may take place outside the December 7-11 dates.
