The Buzz Aldrin ShareSpace Foundation and the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation will hold their annual Apollo Celebration Gala at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center on July 21, 2018 from 5:30-11:00 pm ET. The event raises funding for STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering, Art, and Math) education, scholarships “and to inspire the game-changers of the future.”
July 20, 2018 is the 49th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon when the first humans, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, set foot on the Moon while Mike Collins orbited overhead in the Apollo Command Module.
