APOLLO FLIGHT DIRECTOR GENE KRANZ SPEAKS AT NASM, Nov 8, 2018, DC, 8:00 pm ET (webcast)

Legendary NASA flight director Gene Kranz will speak at the National Air and Space Museum on November 8, 2018 at 8:00 pm ET.  The event will be webcast.

Kranz was flight director for Apollo 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17.   Famous for his handling of the problem-plagued Apollo 13 mission and getting the crew back to Earth safe and sound and the “failure is not an option” quote.
