ARTEMIS I SECOND TRY POST-MMT PRE-LAUNCH BFG, Sept 1, 2022, KSC, 6:00 pm ET

NASA will hold a pre-launch briefing for the second attempt to launch the Artemis I test flight of the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft on September 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm ET following a meeting of the Mission Management Team (MMT). It will air on NASA TV, NASA Live and the NASA App.
The launch was scrubbed on August 29. They will try again on September 3.
Participants in the September 1 briefing are:
- Mike Sarafin, Artemis mission manager, NASA Headquarters
- Charlie Blackwell-Thompson, Artemis launch director, Exploration Ground Systems Program, Kennedy
- John Honeycutt, SLS program manager, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center
- Melody Lovin, weather officer, Space Launch Delta 45
