Update, November 11: NASA is sticking with November 16 at 1:04 am ET for the launch.
The post-Mission Management Team (MMT)/pre-launch briefing is now scheduled for Sunday, November 13, at about 7:00 pm ET depending on when the meeting ends. Participants are:
- Bill Nelson, NASA administrator
- Mike Sarafin, Artemis mission manager, NASA Headquarters
- Charlie Blackwell-Thompson, Artemis launch director, Exploration Ground Systems Program, Kennedy
- Emily Nelson, chief flight director, NASA Johnson
- Melody Lovin, weather officer, U.S. Space Launch Delta 45
Update, November 8: The November 14 launch has been postponed until at least November 16 due to Tropical Storm Nicole. November 19 is a backup. Stay tuned for updates on when this briefing will take place.
Original Entry: NASA will hold a media briefing on November 11, 2022 following the Mission Management Team meeting prior to the launch of Artemis I on November 14. This will be the third launch attempt for Artemis I (the first were on August 29 and September 3).
The November 11 briefing will take place at Kennedy Space Center and air on NASA Television, the NASA app, and the agency’s website at: https://www.nasa.gov/live
