ARTEMIS I WDR TEST RESUMES AGAIN, June 18-20, 2022, KSC
Event Navigation
Update, June 10: NASA plans to resume the Wet Dress Rehearsal test of the Artemis I rocket on June 18 with the final portion — loading the Space Launch System’s core stage and Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage with cryogenic propellants (liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen) and practicing countdowns — on June 20. Three tries in April were scrubbed for a variety of reasons and the rocket was rolled back to the Vehicle Assembly Building for fixes. It was rolled back to the pad on June 6.
NASA will provide live coverage of tanking and two practice countdowns to within 9.3 seconds of launch beginning at 7:00 am ET June 20. The target test window opens at 2:40 pm ET.
NASA will hold a pre-test media teleconference on June 15 at 11:00 am ET and a post-test media teleconference on June 21 at 11:00 am ET. See our separate calendar entries for those.
