ASTRO 2020 STEERING COMMITTEE, Mar 25-26, 2020, virtual

Update, March 18 The meeting now will be only two days, March 25-26, instead of three (March 24-26) and will be held entirely online.

The only sessions open to the public (via Zoom) are on March 26 from 10:00 am – 1:35 pm ET.

Update, March 14:  The National Academies posted this general notice about the status of Astro 2020 meetings during the coronavirus outbreak, but the webpage for this particular steering committee meeting does not yet indicate if the meeting is postponed or will be held virtually.

In light of the recent cases of the COVID-19 virus in the Washington DC metropolitan area, and in keeping with our deep commitment to the community we serve, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will not hold in-person activities involving non-staff participants from March 14 – May 1. Upcoming Astro2020 meetings will be converted to virtual meetings whenever possible.

Original Entry: The Steering Committee for the Astronomy and Astrophysics Decadal Survey (Astro 2020) will meet on March 24-26, 2020 at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s Keck Center, 500 5th St., NW, Washington, DC.
