AXIOM-4 (Ax-4) DOCKS AT ISS, June 26, 2025, Earth orbit, 7:00 am ET (webcast begins 5:00 am ET)

Update, June 24: After additional changes to the launch date, they have finally settled on June 25 at 2:31 am ET.  If the launch takes place at that time, docking will be at 7:00 am ET on June 26.  NASA, SpaceX and Axiom will begin live coverage starting at 5:00 am ET.

Update, June 10:  The launch has been postponed again while SpaceX fixes a liquid oxygen (LOx) leak on the Falcon 9 rocket. No new date has been set.


Update, June 9:  the launch has slipped a day to June 11 at 8:00 am ET and docking to June 12.  The docking time is still 12:30 pm ET.  NASA+/SpaceX/Axiom live coverage begins at 10:30 am ET.

Original Entry: The Axiom-4 (Ax-4) private astronaut mission is scheduled to launch on June 10, 2025 at 8:22 am ET.  If launch takes place as planned, the four-person crew will dock at the International Space Station on June 11 at approximately 12:30 pm ET.

Arrival coverage by SpaceX and NASA begins at 10:30 am ET and continues through docking, hatch opening and welcome remarks (usually 1.5-2 hours after docking).

The private astronaut crew members are:

  • Peggy Whitson, commander, Axiom Space (former NASA)
  • Shubhanshu Shukla, pilot, Indian Air Force and one of four picked for ISRO’s future Gaganyaan mission
  • Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, mission specialist, ESA Astronaut Reserve Class (Poland)
  • Tibor Kapu, mission specialist, Hungarian to Orbit (HUNOR) Program
