BOEING-NASA UPDATE ON STARLINER OFT-2, Aug 13, 2021, virtual, 1:00 pm ET

Boeing and NASA will provide an update on the status of Boeing’s Starliner Orbital Flight Test-2 (OFT-2) on August 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm ET. Audio will be livestreamed on NASA Live.

Participants are:

• Kathryn Lueders, NASA associate administrator for human exploration and operations
• Steve Stich, manager of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program
• John Vollmer, vice president and program manager of Boeing’s Commercial Crew Program

The OFT-2 launch was postponed about two hours before liftoff on August 3 when valves on the propulsion system were not correctly positioned. Boeing has been troubleshooting the problem ever since.
