UPDATE, Oct. 24: The NASA webpage for this event says it has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict.
NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine will speak at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), FL on October 24, 2018 at 12:00 pm ET as part of a day-long set of events at various NASA field centers to highlight that NASA is preparing for human exploration of the Moon and then Mars.
According to NASA’s press release:
During these events, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine will speak at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at noon EDT, spotlighting NASA’s new Moon to Mars approach for human space exploration. He’ll discuss the agency’s plans to lead a sustainable return to the Moon, which includes the integration of U.S. companies and international partners, with the aim to use the Moon as a proving ground for the ultimate goal – sending astronauts to Mars.

At Moon to Mars events across NASA, participants will get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the respective center and the diverse work of the agency through tours and presentations with scientists, engineers and managers. Each center also will broadcast for its attendees the administrator’s speech from Kennedy. NASA’s social media followers also have been invited to participate.
The press release states that Bridenstine’s speech at KSC will be webcast on NASA’s website and broadcast on NASA TV.
