Original Entry: China’s Tianwen-1 spacecraft will enter orbit around Mars on February 10, 2021. The spacecraft is an orbiter/lander/rover. The landing portion of the mission is expected to take place several weeks later.
China says it will enter orbit on February 10.
Andrew Jones, who closely follows the Chinese space program, tweeted that it will enter orbit at 12:01 UTC (Universal Time, also known as GMT or Zulu). That would make it 7:01 am Eastern Standard Time.
