The Space Studies Board (SSB) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will hold its annual Space Science Week from March 23-25, 2021. The SSB’s six standing committees meet individually and jointly during that time, with March 23 as a plenary session with all of them.
The plenary session also includes an evening public lecture. For 2021, the topic is Climate Change as Seen From Space. It will take place virtually on March 23 from 5:30-6:30 pm ET. The speaker is Gavin Schmidt, Acting Senior Climate Advisor, NASA headquarters and Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies.
