CMTE ON ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHYSICS–ROMAN SPACE TELESCOPE (Natl Acad), Feb 24, 2022, virtual, 4:00-6:00 pm ET

The Committee on Astronomy and Astrophysics of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is beginning a new project for NASA to provide advice for setting the mix of survey times devoted to the 3 Core Community Surveys relative to guest investigator-led observing programs for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope currently in development.

The project is in response to recommendations in the recently released “Pathways to Discoveries” Decadal Survey on Astronomy and Astrophysics.

This telecon is the kick-off meeting for the project and will take place February 24, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 pm ET.

As of February 20, the project’s website does not have an agenda, but says some of the sessions are open and some are closed.
