Update, Sepember 24, 9:00 pm ET: NASA is delaying the arrival of Crew-5 pending more details on the track of Tropical Storm Ian. Stay tuned.
Original Entry: The four crew members — two Americans, a Japanese and a Russian — of the NASA/SpaceX Crew-5 mission will arrive at Kennedy Space Center on September 26, 2022 at approximately 3:30 pm ET.
Their arrival will air on NASA Television, the NASA app, and the agency’s website with the following participants:
- Janet Petro, director, NASA Kennedy Space Center
- Dana Hutcherson, deputy manager, Commercial Crew Program, NASA KSC
- NASA astronaut Nicole Mann
- NASA astronaut Josh Cassada
- JAXA astronaut Koichi Wakata
- Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina
About an hour later, NASA will hold a media telecon following the Crew-5 Flight Readiness Review.
Launch to the International Space Station is scheduled for October 3 at 12:46 pm ET.
