CREW-6 POST-LAUNCH NEWS CONFERENCE, Mar 2, 2023, KSC, 2:30 am ET

Update, March 1:  The launch has been rescheduled for March 2 at 12:34 am ET.  The post-launch news conference will be at 2:30 am ET.  NASA TV launch coverage begins at 8:45 pm ET tonight.

Participants in the post-launch news conference will be:

  • Kathy Lueders, associate administrator, Space Operations Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters
  • Steve Stich, manager, Commercial Crew Program, Kennedy  
  • Dina Contella, operations integration manager, International Space Station Program, NASA’s Johnson Space Center 
  • Benji Reed, senior director, Human Spaceflight Program, SpaceX 
  • Salem AlMarri, director general, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre 

Update, February 27: The launch was scrubbed at two minutes 14 seconds before the scheduled liftoff due to a problem with the TEA-TEB ignition fluid for the Merlin engines. This press conference was cancelled. NASA said it would post updates on the Crew-6 blog.

Update, February 26:  The NASA TV schedule today shows this starting at 3:45 am ET tomorrow, not 3:30.

Update, February 21: The launch has been delayed a day to February 27 at 1:45 am ET, so this news conference will also be delayed to February 27. The new time is approximately 3:30 am ET.

Original Entry: NASA and its partners will hold a news conference following the launch of Crew-6 on February 26, 2023. The launch is scheduled for 2:07 am ET.  The news conference will take place at approximately 4:00 am ET.

Crew-6 is composed of NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, UAE astronaut Sultan Alneyadi, and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev.

The event will air on NASA TV, the NASA app, and NASA Live.
