Event Navigation
The Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will hold a webinar on September 29, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 pm ET on “Designing Research Campaigns for the Next Decade of Biological and Physical Sciences in Space.”
The description on the event’s website, where the agenda and registration instructions also are posted, says:
The Decadal Survey on Biological and Physical Sciences in Space 2023-2032 will begin later this year, bringing the research community together to identify priorities for the next decade. For the first time, the decadal survey will include a NASA request to present ideas for “research campaigns,” which may integrate multiple missions and multiple disciplines to tackle an overarching scientific or exploration goal. Learn more about NASA’s new research campaign initiative and ways to share your ideas with the decadal survey, once it is underway, at our webinar on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 1-4pm ET. During the webinar, invited speakers will discuss the decadal survey, flagship missions in NASA’s science mission directorate, and how to form teams and develop ideas for decadal survey white papers. At the end of the webinar, speakers will take questions from the audience.
Note that times on the agenda are in both Pacific Daylight Time (red) and Eastern Daylight Time (black).
