EARTH DAY IN-FLIGHT EVENT WITH ISS ASTRONAUTS, Apr 22, 2021, Earth orbit, 11:00 am ET

NASA TV will broadcast an in-flight event with five astronauts aboard the International Space Station on Earth Day 2021, which is April 22, 2021, at 11:00 am ET.

Participants are NASA Space Station Commander Shannon Walker, NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei, Mike Hopkins and Victor Glover, and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Soichi Noguchi.

Walker, Hopkins, Glover and Noguchi arrived on SpaceX’s Crew-1 spacecraft on November 15, 2020.  Vande Hei arrived on Russia’s Soyuz MS-18 on April 9, 2021.

[Crew-1’s replacements, Crew-2, will be en-route to the ISS at the time of this broadcast. They are scheduled to launch on April 22 at 6:11 am ET and dock on April 23 at 5:30 am ET.  Crew-1 will return to Earth on April 28.]
